"I am a creature made of energy, I am the sentient aspect of what binds this universe together, and I can still use it to my will. What's left of my people's power, and my work ethic, I can still give it to the universe, maybe one last time. My days are numbered now, and if I cease to exist so more people can continue after me, so be it."
Ben could definitely respect the idea of having a sense of duty for no other reason than who you are. Though, while Big Ben's loyalty was almost exclusively to his planet, it seemed his newfound companion had chosen the entire universe as the place to owe loyalty to. It was... ambitious, to say the least, but it's not often that one would have an enemy that could threaten something that large.
Of course, it was disturbingly often one would see missiles rapidly approaching. Ben immediately grabbed Nebulae by the collar of his suit and pulled him to the ground with him, trying to brace both of them from the shock of the explosion. Ben looked behind him towards where Tora and the Canis were sparring. "They seem fine, but if I know the rumors about at least one of those guys, the Peacekeeper is going to be tending towards the wounded." Ben slowly stood up and looked back towards the direction the missiles came from. "The Reds are good at licking their wounds on their own if you ask me. I don't know about you, but I wasn't hired as a doctor."
Ben didn't take any longer to converse with Nebulae as he noticed several Demon bikes approaching. They began to race through the festival looking for targets, of whom some were Tora and the Canis. Ben realised he had yet to be spotted, and quickly made his way behind one of the various stalls, just out of line of sight. He didn't know who was in those Bike H.M.V.s, but he knew that, foe or even Demon, it had targeted the Giant Hunters, and needed to die.
Ben picked up his axe from his back as he remained knelt behind one of the stands. The sound of approaching Bike grew louder and louder, but he knew how large they were, their speed, and exactly how long it would take them to reach him. After a few patient moments, a Bike was nearly next to him. It was not prepared for what would happen next.
The Clockwight jumped from behind the stall and charged straight for the large Bike. It swerved, less out of fear of injuring Ben, but more just out of confusion of seeing the brass warrior appear from seemingly nowhere and run towards the rampaging vehicle. Ben leaped into the air and swung his axe to give him a corkscrew spin for extra momentum, landing hard against the top of the still moving Bike. There he saw the human clone glaring at him. She tried to yell something, but by the time she opened her mouth her head was already severed from her shoulders.
Ben seated himself in the pilot's seat as if the H.M.V. was his own, and began looking through the display. Whoever that girl he just killed worked for, there was a heirarchy, and if they were somewhat smart, their leader probably took an H.M.V. with a specific signal it could use to differentiate themselves.
