Tarrick watched as VeeTee splattered Hunter with whatever strange alien organ had been discovered before going into her rant. At this point she seemed to be rambling on and on about mutant transformation as if she were a scientist before letting the actual scientist even speak.
"Is it me or did someone get the wrong dossier, if anything I thought we'd be the ones telling her what to do for our own good, not the other way around," he stated before looking at the oversized-handcannon Vee had left with him. He would return it, but not before he took a glance at horrible excuse that was a firearm.
It was time to be critical on what would matter when the fight started.
"Hm, every bit customized with a lot of useless shit tacked on and I don't say that lightly," Tarrick began as he began his inspection, turning the weapon in his hands. "Flashlight is unnecessary for a weapon like this, wearing tact goggl, HUDs or carrying the flashlight on its own. It is better to avoid imbalance of weight, especially for a weapon that is only effective at ranges up to fifty-meters with incredibly high dispersion. Grenade launcher's redundant, caliber is too small to be of any use, yet will still break fingers if you're not careful firing. Better off firing miniature jet-assisted explosive rounds with a miniature plasma core. Expensive, but ten rounds are still less than adding the launcher and meshes well with the accelerated firing chamber. I do like that improvement, but it's the only thing of note on this weapon. Everything is literally just thrown as expected by a gang member. Intimidation before practicality, but can't say intimidation means much if you lose the gun fight thanks to your weapon being held back. Only the uneducated would be afraid of a weapon like this and I don't think the Beyonders care much about small-arms."
The inspection then ceased as Tarrick quickly wrote up a list that he then sent to VeeTee via messaging on what could be improved which essentially meant everything. As he typed, he grabbed a towel from the gym's change room and tossed it to Hunter.
"Clean yourself up and hopefully Falstaff can actually tell us what's going on regarding the blood and mutation."
