The Depths of Cetlicca
The Center. The Middle. The Hub to end all Hubs. Cetlicca has many names - most dumber than the one it was given upon the completion of its walls - each one hammering home the point that it is, in fact, the center of the world.
Well, okay, that's a bit much.
Cetlicca is placed almost right in the center of civilized lands, an enormous metropolis celebrating each of the civilizations that revolve around its glory. Trade is the lifeblood of Cetlicca and the surrounding villages, and it comes in plenty. As a result, the city is heavily decorated, bringing in even more wealth from the tourists that inevitably trail flow in with the merchants.
However, outside of a few public buildings and the occasional noble-funded area, the city doesn't always show this. Narrow streets running between massive, run-down buildings give most of its citizens an immunity to claustrophobia, and keep most of the tourists and other new comers to the outer sections of the city. Definitely for the best, as these narrower streets - while holding some of the best goods to buy and some prime opportunities to take - hold a great many dangers of all sorts.
Essentially, one can categorize the city into three - vague - zones: the Center, the Maze, and most importantly the Outer City. The outer 'ring' as it is sometimes called is a mixture of the poor and outcast as well as newcomers with all their riches and experience. Here, one can find more spacious streets, and a mixture of brand-new and somewhat dilapidated structures. This is where many journeys - yours in particular - begin.
You have come to Cetlicca for reasons that are your own. You may be searching for adventure, running from an enemy, or seeking enlightenment or glory. There is little chance you won't find the answer to your problems within Cetlicca's walls: especially in the Center. However, if you have any chance of getting that far, you will need help.
This is where Barthas's Guild for Beginners comes in.
This small, brand-new guild may have caught your attention for many reasons: for one, it's made quite clearly for newcomers in particular. Another reason is for the somewhat odd but evidently kind old man, Barthas, who runs the place. Still more of you may have found yourselves unable to afford boarding and joined for the promise of food and shelter.
But, let's be honest: most of you signed up either because Barthas asked nicely or because of the simple fact it's the only guild this side of Cetlicca that has no requirements to join.
In any case, you're bound to make - and perhaps lose - new friends as you work for your new boss... and prepare for whatever final journey lies ahead of you.

Okay so right now this is less of a sign-up and more a search for people's interest. I want to run a Pathfinder campaign (it's... basically D&D, for the uninitiated) using the website Roll20 that you've almost definitely heard about. If you haven't, poke around here. It's pretty neat.
The gist of this is that I'm able to run a tabletop RPG online so we don't all have to drive to some barn in the Midwest to meet up. So for those interested in roleplaying in realtime but not dealing with actually being in the company of other human beings, this is for you.
I have no exact ideas for a campaign as of yet; my plan is to make something open - potentially some form of open-world thing, but I have no plans to explicitly do that if it's unnecessary - so that I can run this often and it's okay if some people aren't available for every session: I know a lot of you are far busier than I am, while a few people are arguably less busy than I am. With this disjointedness in schedules, I want to make this campaign/adventure/what-have-you as open as possible to run despite the odds.
On that note of making this open, I understand a good few people don't like playing the number game: that's totally fine. In fact, I intend to make this fairly open to even those players. Whether you need more hands-on help or just want me to generate stats for you, I'm open to a lot of options if it means getting more people to play with :P
So, without further ado, I ought to throw up the sign-up sheet as-is: this is really just to show you're genuinely interested without putting very much involvement in at all. Really. Just look at it:
Timezone: PST, EST... other T... that kind of thing. Gives me an idea of how badly I'm going to inconvenience you and vice versa.
Rough Schedule: Give me some dates/times you'll probably be available. The more exact you are, the more helpful it is. ^^
Roll20 Experience: Have you ever used Roll20 before? Feel free to elaborate as much as you want. This'll help me figure out how much explaining I'll need to do.
Pathfinder/D&D Experience: Since Pathfinder isn't too far at its core from D&D (albeit purportedly more complicated, but I wouldn't really know), I'm mixing them both here.
Preferred Class/Archetype/What-have-you: Okay this bit isn't really necessary but it's also nice to note everyone's preferred playstyle (or lack of preference if you're not sure). The core classes in Pathfinder are pretty standard fare: things like rogues, fighters, wizards, and clerics, among several others. If you really want to do your homework, Googling (or Binging, but no promises that'll work :P ) something along the lines of 'paizo pathfinder [class]' will get you all the rules for that particular class. I don't advise doing that unless you really want to make long-term, meta plans for your character or the party at large.
...Okay that's a lot of flavor text, but it isn't that bad I promise ;u;
------
As a note for how I plan to run this, with the number of players we have so far it doesn't hurt to run this whenever a few people aren't available - in fact, that is perhaps better compared to the alternative of having too large of a group all trying to do things at once. As a result, I hope to continue adding players and constantly involved returning to the guild house as a form of players leaving and joining the party when they need to drop-in or drop-out, with the guild's journal being a form of keeping everyone mostly up-to-date with RP happenings when they are absent.
