What the Hell Happened the SSLF?

yeah like I said, it wasn't a well thought out topic at all, and making it about Rise rather than the problems Rise was probably unintentionally exacerbating was a poor move that made it read to everyone like an attack rather than a discussion.

Wow, I feel like a fucking Fallout character walking through the ruins of some bombed out battlefield from ages ago, and then finding a small community of post-apocalyptic survivors making a castle somewhere else.

Crying shame about what happened. I had actually popped back to see if my old Agents of SIN shit was still around.

I haven't logged on to SSLF in months. I left while that place was lit on fire and it sounds like it's still burning.

Back to the point of "The Problem With Rise", I really didn't like how Harry kind-of used me to push his point that the RP boards were dominated by Rise. I just remember being excited that I was being mentioned by someone (I was a kid, I sucked back then. Still do.) and then the entire thread became a back and forth, with people just hoping onto others' comments because their opinion wouldn't be heard if they had made the point. Bad move, Harry. Then when he kind-of disappeared off the forum for a while after that, I wasn't too surprised.

That thread was just a mess, I really regret what I said back then.

Another point. It makes me a little sad that Dalton Westmoore is still wasting his time there. He is dedicated to his art and writing (even if it isn't always great.) yet, he's convinced that WG is great (mainly because having an entire section dedicated to a RP that actually runs okay when the DM isn't off their meds.) and I can respect that, it was how I felt when I first joined the Forum (it didn't last long, but RPing was alright, so I stuck.) I don't know if he's still paying the monthly membership (which hammered the last nail into the coffin.) But I can say that when I logged on and found that the RP section, which held a RP that was active, and I was thoroughly enjoying, was suddenly gone, and then the site demanded I pay a fee to get into the RP section, which wasn't even permanent! I saw it as a "F-You" right in my face. Then the site was pretty much dead to me, I wasn't there for anymore of the fighting and shit in the downfall, which is good, I would have probably left some passive-aggressive comment that would lead into a rant on something and banned myself.
