Here's an idea I've been kicking around. I've wanted to run a post-apocalyptic RP for sometime, but I'm not sure if the idea will resonate with y'all.
Terra:
Earth no longer belongs to Humanity. Almost three decades ago, Man waged against himself, leaving The Great Earth eternally scarred. But finally, they looked up from the blood and the dirt and the dying to the stars. For a moment it seemed that the killing would cease, Humanity had not forgot their dream of reaching out, seeking a new home in the stars. For the first time, all of Mankind was united in pursuit of a shared goal.
But as Man ceased their bloodshed against each other, it would seem the universe was more than willing to give them a new enemy. Their origin is unknown, but humans would come to call them Xenopods. Some say they came from a meteor, others believe they are the result of secret weapons tests. By any caliber, their invasion pushed mankind to leave their planet, finding refuge on Apollo Station, a space station constructed to house only the strongest of Humanity.
The year is 2084, Humanity sits on the brink of extinction. You are a member of the Earth Recovery Force, the united military force of Apollo. Everyday, you fight to claim whatever you can from the surface of your homeworld. Every victory comes with a sacrifice, and every new day is a miracle. With the use of mech suits, heavy weaponry, and advanced training, the ERF stands a chance against the ever-evolving Xeno infestation.

This is just an idea I've been throwing around. A more military-centered roleplay, with mecha and post-apocalyptic elements. I see the similarities to Rise, but with advice from Hawk, I want to move away from Rise and try something new. I don't usually GM, aside from my current smaller RPs on another site, meaning this game will be pretty relaxed when it comes to a posting schedule.
I'm not married to this idea, it's just a genre I've been interested in recently. Critique and feedback is welcome. If no one is really interested, I'll be fine with scrapping it.
Edit: Nah dude, this isn’t happening.
